I started a new blog named Blogmenaut. I derived it from "Blog Me Not" and "Blogmenaut" as in "Astronaut" where "Blog Me" refers to a bloggable topic and the suffix "-naut" from the Greek word "nautes" meaning "sailor". So it's like Blogmenaut is a "sailor of bloggable topics".
To tell you the truth, I had a hard time figuring out what to blog about since there are so many things that I want to write about. But I was feeling that this blog was too open and that it wasn't "general". I wanted a blog that would fit a general audience. I wanted to write regularly. I wanted to write a blog with entries with a certain scope. Since most of my personal entries are in Tagalog, I limit my readers to Filipinos and sometimes, schoolmates. I guess I miss the times when I interact with a lot of people globally through the internet. It helps me understand other cultures, other thoughts, other personalities ... a lot of possibilities.
I understand that it would be better if I just revised this blog since most people I know already know about it. But I felt it would be inappropriate because I enjoy the way I write in this blog so I can't just drop it. I like the mix of Tagalog and English, the randomness, the photo entries and the personal touch. I'd like to keep those qualities in my blog. I figured I couldn't incorporate that in napakaXai:// without ruining its ambiance as a blog.
So there we have it.
